Psalm
89:15-16
Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
In Your name they rejoice all day long, And in Your righteousness they are exalted.

We were created to worship God. It is the purpose of our being on this planet and throughout eternity. Going to church for an hour each week is sometimes our idea of worship. On the other hand, God wants to be in constant contact with us and wants us to live a worshipful lifestyle. Is that even possible? We find our greatest satisfaction and joy in God when we go about our days rejoicing in the things he delights in.
By honouring him in everything we do and giving him the glory he deserves. We're praising God. We can experience worship as a lifestyle whether our days are spent washing floors and dirty dishes or sitting at a computer. True worship is when we joyfully obey God's call and accomplish our task for His honour.
Kneeling, bowing, and praying as outward manifestations of worship may enhance our worship experience, but true worship comes from our hearts.
By making a habit of being in God's presence and keeping one's gaze fixed on him at all times, our heart becomes accustomed to him to the point where it wants to engage in unceasing acts of love, praise, confidence, thanksgiving, offering, and petitioning.
Let us cheerfully respond to God's invitation to worship. We shall be abundantly blessed as we walk in the brightness of his presence all day!
