Isaiah
41:10

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 41:10

- BsL

Many people today are dealing with problems in their life that are truly difficult. Death of a loved one, broken families, health issues, financial difficulties, the list goes on and on. In their unpredictability, difficult times inevitably bring worry and distress into our lives. Even the strongest hearts are weakened by difficult situations, which utterly overwhelm the mind and emotions.

Amid our messed-up situations, our verse today is a fantastic source of inspiration. Let's take a closer look at each phrase expressing optimism for us today.

Do not fear. Fear floods us when we feel alone and helpless in our worst moments. God gives us the instruction to "do not fear" in every scenario we face, and He backs it up with the assurance, "I am with you." Let us express this truth to our hearts and minds as we travel into difficult situations. Knowing that God is with us should instill boldness in our hearts.

Do not be dismayed. Dismayed indicates that we have lost our courage due to the alarming scenarios that can arise from an unexpected turn of events. Things can change quickly in our lives, other people can hurt us, and pain can catch us off guard. Situations slam at you, knocking you down, robbing you of your hope, and upsetting your peace. "Do not be afraid, for I am your God," God says at those moments. His presence soothes and guards your heart. He's with you in every situation, every breath you take, and every difficult decision you have to make. He is the God of His people, strong and mighty!

I will strengthen and help you. God says today that He will support you in these trying times as He strengthens you. He will assist you in triumphing over these difficult times. Open the Bible and hold to the promises it contains. God used these circumstances to strengthen you and pull you closer to Him. God will certainly assist you while He works mightily in your life.

When God says, "I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." He is promising you victory. As you empty your heart in prayer and fill your head and heart with God's word, God will lift you up spiritually during these times. He will lift you out of these dreadful situations with His righteous or great right hand. As long as you keep your eyes on God, you will receive His guidance in every challenge you face.

So, in the heart of everything that is challenging in your life today, can you use this time to trust God more and cast your burdens onto Him. There is no reason to walk through them alone or in fear. He is with you, for He is God.
