Glory in the living God
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:— 1 Peter 2:21

We are never promised a life free of suffering. Still, the Lord has promised that everyone who comes to Him will receive everything they need for life and godliness. Still, He has never promised that He will make them prosperous, wealthy, or healthy or that death or grief will never befall their family.
"Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
Consider God's word; despite what some people may try to teach, God's word nowhere says that coming to trust in Christ Jesus leads to a more affluent existence here on earth. On the other hand, just as Christ suffered in this world, so will those who are his. In the face of suffering, Christ's example reveals how to respond with faith in God, despite the pain, difficulties, and even death.
Christ set an example for us on how to live. He walked in spirit and truth, wholly reliant on His heavenly Father, guided and instructed in all ways by God, and suffered for us, setting an example for us to follow. He is an awe-inspiring example of a perfect man in his thoughts, words, deeds, and demeanour. He was patient in tribulation, devout in prayer, and full of grace and truth - and it was through His suffering that Jesus learnt obedience. He patiently endured by humbling Himself and becoming obedient even to the death on the cross.
"do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy." 1 Peter 4:12-13
Remember that hardship generates steadfastness, which leads to a more sure and persevering faith. We will certainly suffer in this life but rest assured that Christ Jesus is aware of your anguish and is there to strengthen and maintain you. Ask God for wisdom to know how to deal with the challenges of life, and he will lead and assist you.
Glory in the living God, for he will strengthen you in your trials. In the face of adversity, be faithful to Christ Jesus and pray to God for help. Believe that in our weakness, Christ's power is made perfect. He is our rock and redeemer and fortress, especially when we are in need.
Remember, God will stand by you when you've done all you can do and can't cope. He will help you through.
"My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Cor. 12:9
